What Could Sporadic Numbness In Left Thigh Indicate?

Hi, I have been having left thigh numbness for about 4 days now. It is sporadic and happens when I am sitting, standing, or walking/exercising. It is just on the outside of my left thigh from about the middle of my thigh and not quite all the way around to the back. It does not go to my knee or my butt. Thoughts?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Sporadic numbness of your thigh may be a result of irritation or damage to the supplying nerves. See a neurologist for complete physical examination, investigations and evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ajeet Singh, General & Family Physician
