What Could Stabbing Pain And Swelling In Ears Indicate, Already Have History Of Dizziness And Hearing Loss?

I have pain in and around my left ear, its a stabbing pain for a few minutes the it stops I have swelling around tha t ear its going on a couple of months now. I have had an ultrasound but nothing unusual showed up. I don't have a cold or a fever, or drainage. My other ear is starting to have similar vague symptoms. Dr. is not sure what it can be. Please help. thank you. Ps. dizziness and loud noises and clanging like symbols, with the rythim of my pulse was diagnosed along with hearing loss 5 yrs. ago

hello. it is likely you may be having some trouble with your inner ear and now may have developed an infection of the outer ear. there are various possibilities and you have to be tested to confirm which is the correct one. please meet your ENT doctor, he will guide you further. thanks
