Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I recommend checking CEA and CA19.9 plasma levels in order to exclude a possible malignancy. Regarding the fever, I would recommend performing further tests:
- Complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation
- A stool analysis
- A urine bacterial culture
- A chest X-ray study
- An abdominal ultrasound
- A blood bacterial culture

Further tests may be needed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
