What Could Sudden Difficulty In Breathing With Heavy Chest Indicate?

I have been on oxygen before because of my heart - the other night woke up suddenly, had difficulty breathing, and felt like a truck was on my chest. This lasted for several hours. I maybe should have gone over to the hospital, right ?! I am a young 65 - people say I look 40 ! so I am lucky !

I really appreciate your concern, such symptoms of course need to be ruled out for the cardiac disease and it ought to be tested for the same, if you have not gone through this then better to get done the EKG and ECHO, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
