What Could Sudden Spike In Blood Sugar In A Non-diabetic Indicate?
my blood sugar is 150 seems to be a sugar spike not a diabetic was only currently monitoring blood sugar for hypoglycemia think i had to many carbs to eat today or the banana that i had or flavored milk that i added to my decaf coffee right now i feel a slight headache and a little under the weather how can i bring it down.

If you didn't take any food 1 hour before test then its marginally high.The normal range for fasting sugar is 70-100 mg/dl and after meal (PP) is <140 mg/dl and 140-199 is borderline diabetes. So it looks like pre-diabetes. Exercise daily for at least 45 minutes. It helps to deal with insulin resistance which is main cause of type 2 diabetes.Reduce intake of sugars, sweets,carbohydrates. Increase intake of protein, salads, vegetables, fruits. Take 4-5 small meals in a day. Reduce fry foods.
