What Could Sudden Swelling And Pain In Left Ankle Indicate?

Hello, My husband Mark, 3 weeks ago started having trouble with his left ankle no injury, swelling, aching, looks like his arches have fallen. Ice and IBU helps. Also we have gotten arch support for his shoes, helps some. His ankle or foot isn t hot to the touch. I can t get him to go for X Ray. Thanks for your input.

I really appreciate your concern, such ankle problem could be due to arthritis changes and this can be well treated with Tab Diclofenac 50 mg sustain released once in day x-ray study can be done, for right diagnosis, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
