What Could Swelling Around The Ankles With Red, Dark Spots Around Them Indicate?

Hi Doctor, My left leg is swelling around the ankle and there are red dark spots above the ankle.If i keep my legs raised while sleeping the swelling is less in the morning, but by the evening it will swell again. Now my other leg also showing the same red patches but no swelling yet. I consulted a doctor and he said it is bug bite and gave me some tablets and one injection. please advise. Thank you

I really appreciate your concern, this may not be bug bite but this could be arthritis condition and this need to be ruled out and for that you need to get done some investigation along with clinical examination, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
