Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have one month swelling at the base of my neck on the right side. Initially, it was the size of a ping pong ball, over a few weeks it reduced to 1/4 the size of a ping pong ball and today, it increased to 3/4 of a ping pong ball. I did perform strenuous exercised for 35 minutes yesterday. The swelling is soft, and I really do not have pain. Although today my head feels a little fuzzy, almost like very mild flu symptoms. Any thoughts?
HI Well come to HCM This could be lipoma in very rare cases this need to be managed surgical (Removing) if this is not hurting then no need to treat this lesion, some time for the cosmetic purpose, this is being treated, still this need to be confirm and for that clinical examination is must, for the flu like symptoms does not need any treatment, take care.
