Hello,

Since you have discharge from your right ear and swelling under right ear it is indicative of untreated otitis media that is infected (ASOM) causing spread of infection to the mastoid bone (mastoiditis) and hence swelling below the ear. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an ENT. You need a course of oral antibiotics and analgesics. Your treating doctor will give you an ear drop if infection is detected. In case, it is wax, the ENT may do ear wash, a procedure done by an NET in the clinic. Do not touch your ear, do not scratch.

You may have to get few investigations and imaging tests done so that the treatment can be started. You can take Combiflam, one SOS when needed to ease pain. Be careful with your ear, do not let any water enter into it during bathing. Avoid swimming, stay away from swimming pools. It will trigger worsening of symptoms. Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
