What Could Swollen Lymph Nodes With Stabbing Pain Under Ribcage Mean?
I have had swollen lymph nodes for a few weeks now I went to the hospital they did blood work and its not mono. They want me to go for a biopsy. The swelling has gone down a bit but still hard. Now I have a stabbing pain under my right ribcage. hurts to breathe. Not sure it has anything to do with it.
Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you should get done chest x ray first to rule out lung causes for pain. If this is normal than it must be muscular pain. Take good painkillers and muscle relaxant. For your lymphnode I think you should get done FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology). It is OPD based procedure. No surgery is required and less invasive and safe than biopsy. For hard lymphnodes tissue diagnosis is must. So better to go for either FNAC or biopsy.
