What Could Swollen Toe With Soreness Suggest?

Hi doc, over the last few days my toe nxt to my big toe has been sore, now I am finding it hard to walk! It's slighly swollen I can't curl it downward. When I press underneath at the bottom joint and on the ball its sore. I was thinking on going to hosp cause I will not be able to wait until our doc' open on Monday. I have had a look on internet can't find info. Look forward to your reply
