What Could Swollen Tonsil With Fatigue And Difficulty In Swallowing Suggest?
Hi, I ve been ill on and off for last 6 months have had a swollen left tonsil never gone down in swelling, sharp pain under bottom left rib, fatigue, hard to swallow being sick after eating I ve seen countless doctors and nurses had blood tests and throaght swab all came back nothing to being told of one nurse glandula fever then another one say viral infection or allergy so confused??? not sure any advice next step too take.
Hi. The diagnosis is obvious. IF the tests for glandular fever is negative you are suffering from Chronic tonsillitis and there may be an added specific cause for tonsillitis enlargement. I would advise you to get an Examination some by an ENT Surgeon. Get tonsillectomy done . and get the specimen tested by histo-pathology. This will confirm or rule out the specific cause and you may be alright for ever.
