What Could The Bumps On Rear End Mean?

I have a bump/knot on the crack or my rear end. Its kind of embarassing but it only hurts when i lay down or do sit ups. It has been more than 3 days and i don't feel it going down. I'm a 13 year old female. Is this normal? Can you please tell me what this maybe?

Hello and welcome to HCM,

I read your query and understood your concern.

It seems like you have pilonidal cyst, sometime caused due to infection of an ingrown hair.
Consult your physician to get the cyst drained , with a course of antibiotic,as it is most definitive treatment.
For immediate relief, apply topical antibiotics like fusidic acid or mupirocin, and take oral paracetamol for pain relief.

Also apply warn compresses over the lesion 4-5 times per day for 2-3 minutes

Hope I helped
