Hello

The lump may be an infected cyst or a communication from inside the ear bone (temporal bone ) causing the foul smelling discharge.
Please dont ignore this , you will need an antibiotic course and possibly a surgical excision of the same , otherwise there is a danger of the infection spreading into your brain. Please meet your ent doctor .

Thanks
