What Could The Foot And Leg Lump With Hardness Be?

My boy friend has a very hard ball shaped object that only appears in his right foot and leg. I have felt it myself and felt it move. It just feels like a small ball bearing under his skin. It sometimes is felt on the bottom of his leg and sometimes almost all the way up his calf. He had had it since he can remember but you can t feel it all the time, it s like it disappears into his leg.

He may have some cyst like ganglion cyst or other benign cyst or some soft tissue tumour like lipoma or neurofibroma. He should go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
