I have boils on my hands.. They are extrmely itchy, and when I scratch, they collect a reddish fliud (Blood?) underneath the skin. The skin does not break. Two or three boils may merge together in such a way. Each boil itself is very tiny, and they grow clustered together. They appear at the same part of the hand on both hands, dispersed throughout. My hand is not filled with the boils, but instead about an inch or smaller patches of tiny, transparent boils. Please help.
Hi. As per your case history you are having multiple furuncles. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it. 3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for 5-7 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
