What Could The Pain Below Breasts, Like A Bruise, Indicate?

I am female and have strong pain in area below left breast. A week ago I was leaning into a chest freezer and feel like I crushed or bruised rib cage area. Pain however seems worse now a week later. It hurst to cough, its tender to touch. Whats wrong and what should I do?

Pain below breast may be a self limiting condition, but an ultrasound examination of both breasts needs to be done.
