What Could The Prominent Neck Gland Be?

my son is 6 year old ,since he was 1 year or maybe before i've noticed something in his neck ,when hw stands in front it doesn't seems but when he turns his head it noticed something like a very small gland (I think) it's going to worry me i'am scared to make him an eczam i dont know .in fact i say to my self that for six years sth should happened and maybe it's just a malformation of the neck ,please advice me &thank you in advance
