Hi,

It looks like an abscess that could have been a progression from a hair follicle infection. It is due to bacterial infection where the bacteria seeps into the hair roots and cause infection there.

As it is not being drained completely it is the cause for refilling it with pus and blood. So my suggestion is to consult an Emergency room and get evaluated.

Incision and drainage can be done followed by a course of antibiotics like Sulphamethoxazole and Trimethoprim. Keep the area clean and dry and do not touch it again and again to avoid spread of infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
