What Could Thick Tissue Inside The Vagina At The Age Of 67 Indicate?
Hello, I m 67 year old female, who stopped menstruating 14 years ago. For some time now, I have experienced vaginal blood spotting. A few years ago I had a cervical polyp, which has been surgically removed. I had a vaginal imaging amd a USG test done recently and it showed a very thick tissue inside the vagina. What does that mean?
It's better to get the biopsy of that thick tissue to rule out any chances of neoplastic cells or tendency to develop into malignancy should be ruled out.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
