What Could Tightness And Pain In The Knee On Pressure Indicate?
I did something to my knee. it hurts when my leg is extended and hurts to put weight on it. All i did was stand up. it has been a little sore for a couple days but not like this. do i rest it or try to strech it? I walk about three quarters of a mile a day went a little farther this morning and was fine till this afternoon it feels tight
If I was your caring doctor would advise to run an xray of the knee to evaluate changes. I'd also recommend to consult with an orthopaedic specialist for a more accurate care.
For the moment, I advise to : - avoid excessive walking - do not stretch or any other movement of the knee without consulting the orthopedician. - apply alternating warm and cold compresses - take anti inflammatory medications orally
Hope it was of help! Dr.Albana
