What Could Tingling And Swollen Toes With High Cholesterol Suggest?

I have a tingling, very painful, swollen, blue, ulcerated 2nd toe. I have previously been diagnosed with Polyarteritis nodosa. I have recently developed very high cholesterol. My toe now has no skin on it and I have to keep it wrapped up. Very painful to put on shoes. What is this?
