What Could Tingling Cervix With Frequent Urination Indicate?

Hi, recently ive suffered with a yeast breakout all down the back of my legs and my back, this was from bad diet, heat, alcohol and not enough water....i think. So ive stopped drinking and started a kind of detox drinking lemon water and taking Acidophilus, since doing this i feel the urge to urinate more even when there isn t much there when i actually go and i also have a tingling in my cervix. Please can you tell me if this is just the body ridding of something or something more suspect?

Hi,

Can you mention what was the exact symptoms of that yeast infection? How the diagnosis was confirmed and any medical treatment was taken?

Frequent urge to urinate and tingling / itching of vagina and cervix can suggest vaginal candidiasis. This may be associated with a white curdy discharge and erythema of vaginal mucosa. Can be treated with anti fungal pessaries like clotrimazole.

Frequent urination can happen in urine infection also, but here we expect some discomfort or burning during urination, and cervical discomfort is not expected. Kindly discuss with your doctor, as this need a local examination to confirm diagnosis. You may be asked for urine routine examination also.
