What Could Voice Loss In Mid Speech And Severe Pain Indicate?

Hello, I would like to known what is wrong with with me.I do lose my voice suddenly while i am talking and when it happens it hurts so much.This been going on for years. I have been misdiagnosed for astham.Now the Drs. are telling me that I have acid reflux.I need the answer.It s been over about 2 months or more that I am sick; I feel a lot of pain in my throat(like rubbing sand in my vocal cords and only on one side,left) also like there is a flag moving then suddenly it stops and I feel like this flag just blocks my airways but do not last.It makes me very weak because I cough so much...I am so frustrated about.I have bad allergies,get the injection(both arms...weekly).Please help thank you. Hello,

It may be due to laryngitis or acid reflux or vocal polyp or nodule or panic attacks. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please get it done laryngoscopy and chest X-ray. Avoid spicy food and cool drinks. Use tablet Amoxicillin and Clauvulinic acid 625 mg for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
