What Could White Oily Discharge From Breast With Stinging Feeling Mean?

Hi I had a white oily discharge from my right breast a week ago and it hasn t happened since. I am 49 yrs old, not taking contraceptive pills, not sexually active, did not felt any pain. However, there are moments that I feel like various stings on right breast before the discharge occurred.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

I would recommend the following:

+Breast self examination that can be learnt online
+Visit a diagnostic center for a mammogram
+Blood tests to check hormone levels

These investigations will help to find the cause for your presentation. The discharge could be due to some abnormality int he breast tissue (especially because the discharge is seen only on one side), but a hormonal cause will also have to be ruled out, please visit your doctor for a further evaluation ma'am, and do not worry, menopause can cause such different presentations.
