What Could White Patches On Back Of Throat, Feeling Of Swelling In Throat Mean?

I have white patches in the back of the throat for about 4-5 days now. My throat is not sore but there was and still feel like some swelling in the back of the throat. My fever is sporadic and low. My normal temp. is around 97.7 and at time it is 95.4 or higher. The white patches have diminished however not gone.

Hello

You may be having what is called membranous tonsillitis and you may need antibiotics for the same.
Please meet your ent doctor for examination and further advice.
Meanwhile you can start gargles with warm salt water.
