What Days Would Be My Luteal Phase For The Calendar Calculation?
Hi, I am a 40 year old female who has only been pregnant once when I was 37 and it was ectopic- and ruptured my left fallopian tube. We have been trying to get pregnant now about a year and a half but have just now -after it not working started using ovulation kits. I got a positive on Thursday the 27th Friday the 28th and on the 29th. We had sex on the 22nd, 24th, 27th-31st and 2nd, 4th of April. My average cycle is 26 days over the last 2 years. longest 46 days 2x and shortest 21 days. What days would be my luteal phase- for the calendar calculation? - i know it is between the ovulation and menstration. When can i take a home pregnancy test that will be accurate? I am more tired than usual starting last Saturday and Sunday and really fatigued today. However, yesterday i HAD to clean the house! I am also still having cramping feelings on BOTH sides below my navel. Possibly bloated, but no spotting no breast tenderness or any other early pregnancy symtoms . Thank you. julie
Firstly, ovulation occurs two weeks prior to the onset of the menstrual period, in any cycle length. When ovulation kits are used, there is a time delay of about 30 hours from the surge detected in the test kit to the actual ovulation. Since you have had regular intercourse during the fertile period, you can test for pregnancy using HPT 3-7 days after the missed period with a fresh early morning urine sample. For an earlier detection, you can go for the estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres not earlier than a week after the estimated ovulation date.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
