What Diet Should Be Followed During Pregnancy?

is it bad to eat spicy or hot food??(while pregnant)
i am 17 years old i am female and i was told by my aunt that hot and spicy food was bad to eat while your pregnant i would like a list of stuff i can and cant eat,!! i will also lik to know if i sleep or lay on my back is that a bad thing??

Dear madam,I understand your concern.In my opinion in pregnancy due to influence of hormones there will be gastritis.And this gastritis is aggravated by iron intake.And if spicy diet is taken it also causes gastritis.So better avoid that.And its good to lie on side either left or right side and preferably on left side which increases the blood flow to fetus.Fresh fruits and veggies all types ,milk ,egg ,meat and fish are advisable.Avoid junk food and oily and fatty food.Drink adequate fluids upto 2 litres.
