What Diet Should Be Followed To Avoid Weight Gain?

Hello doctor, I wanted to know how important the following foods are in their contribution to weight gain: Banana, Rotis (flat round bread cooked on a griddle…very popular in the Subcontinent), White Rice, Brown Rice, Milk & Ghee (clarified butter). In what frequency must I take these so as to prevent any weight gain?

Dear thanks for choosing HCM.

Components of foods you have mentioned are good for maintaining a balanced health and weight. If your weight is normal then keep taking all items in a balanced proportion as all items like carbohydrates, fat, proteins and vitamins are required for the body.

However if your weight is high you have to reduce banana (take any other fruit like watermelon), reduce milk (or take toned milk), absolute no to ghee (can take once in a week), limited amount of roti and rice and keep doing physical exercises.

I hope my reply will benefit you. Please write to HCM for follow up queries. I wish you ideal weight and ideal health. Hit a thanks. Thank you
