What Diet Should Be Taken While Suffering From Diabetes And TB Simultaneously?

Hi Sir,My father is a diabetic patient for last 10 years.But last week he was infected by TB.Please suggest me what diet should he take to adjust both disease. He also taking medicine for both.Is TB can be prevented by 6 month from regular eating medicine?

Hi and welcome to HCM.
As a specialist,i can understand your anxiety.
All diabetics must avoid any sweet foods,fluids and high carb diet.
They should be exercising daily,for about one hour.
The medicines for diabetes and T.b. don't interact and so nothing to worry.
In T.b.patients,they're advised to take high protein diet,with multivitamins.
The present anti-T.b.treatment for uncomplicated cases is only six months.
His blood routine,creatinine,Rbs,LFT and platelets must be checked.
