What Diet Should I Maintain For My Diabetes And Kidney Stones?
Respected Doctor, I am diabetic, aged 37 years, but i maintain the level very carefully. i do walking and exercise daily, i am suffering with kidney stone problem for the past 15 years in both the kidney's , i had around 45 stones in these 15 years but they pass away in urination , the stones are calcium - ox ilate ...My doubt is whether can I take Raagi substitute in my diet regularly ? and Kindly advise me with preferable diet.......
Kidney stones and diabetes needs special attention because most of the dietary restrictions what we advise for diabetes like eating ragi should be avoided in patients with kidney disease
Secondly food rich in calcium and salts should be avoided as most of the summer in kidneys are made up of calcium and magnisium salts
Intake of high fibre diet is still advised.
Increased water intake will help to decrease the stone formation.
Thanks
