What Do Abdominal Discomfort, Nausea And Itching After IUD Placement Indicate?
I am 43, female, have an IUD, and have abdominal discomfort that s moderate, yellow discharge, some odor, a sour stomach with nausea and vaginal light burning and itching. I have one sexual partner. I did have bacterial vaginitis treated just before having the IUD placed. Please help.

Hello,
It is due to severe gastroenteritis.
As a first line management you can take antacids like omeprazole or pantoprazole for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated.
