What Do Black Bowel Movement And Abdominal Pain Indicate?
I have what looks like mouse dropping s on the toilet tissue when I wipe my bottom. They are black in colour. I do suffer with abdominal pain, but this has been put down to scar tissue from an umbilical hernia repair. I am a bit concerned as the stools are normal colour but they leave a black residue on the back of the toilet pan.

black residue may be due to intake of dark color food like beetroot, black plum or green tea etc.
Other pathological cause for it is upper GI bleeding or iron tablets consumption or bismuth contain antacids consumption etc.
