What Do Black Spots On The Legs While On Acitrom Indicate?
Hello I m 52 years old female. I have undergone post dvr in 2010. I have been taking acitrom 2,2,2,1 after my ptinr report was 2.4. But recently I have got some black spots formed on my legs. What should I do. I m also taking lanolin 0.25mg half tablet 5 days in week.
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It is a small petechial spots or bleeding points. It is quite common with Acitrom or any other anticoagulants. Nothing much to worry and it will settle on its own. If the size of the spots increases or any other bleeding manifestations like bleeding from gum or nose, you may have to stop the drugs.
Wishing you good health.
Thanks.
