What Do Blind Spots In The Field Of Vision Indicate?

I woke up and suddenly have blind spots in my vision.the doctor I saw told me to go for a visual feilds test becuase it might be neurological ..... Should I nip this in the bud and just go to the hospital or neurologist or take my chances with this text and still have to go to the neurologist.

they can be muscivolitantis or degenerative part of retina floating in vetrious also called floaters. as such there is no treatment for floaters. only to be kept in watch. if there is sudden increase in floates then there is iminant chance of peripheral detachment. consult retina surgeon may be laser aplication is requeired to seal the detachment. you may get good result inthisprocedure neurological consultation is not requeired.field tracing may be done and consult endocrinologist exclude involvment of thyroid gland
