What Do Blisters On The Ankle Indicate?

I have a row of raised line of dark pink blisters on both my ankle areas. What are they? They are a bit itchy & I ve only just noticed them. Yesterday, I went for a long walk with my husband in a semi- wooded, grassy area, in open sandals. Any connection?

Yes there's likely to be a connection.

This could be an allergic reaction to an insect bite. However, for definite diagnosis, they have to be examined.

As a preliminary treatment I'd suggest a topical hydrocortisone 1% cream.

If it's getting worse over time, I'd suggest you consult your dermatologist.
