Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 55 year old male and recently developed a line of small flesh colored raised bumps on my penis right underneath the head. They are painless, but appear to have clear heads. They don t itch or cause any discomfort. What could it be? They aren t really round or dome shaped.
Based on the history given I am of the opinion that you seem to have pearly penile papules.
These are a normal asymptomatic benign lesions which are not due to sexual activity or lack of hygiene. They are more common in uncircumcised men. Treatment is not necessary. However, if you wish you can consult a dermatologist for their removal by either carbon dioxide laser vaporization or electrosurgery.
Hope to have answered your query. Best regards.
