Hi my gf has what we think is a boil on her neck and one on her butt cheak how do we address these or does she need to go to the hospital? The one on her buttox is 3 times the size on her neck ? What do we do?I also don t have a credit card but its pretty bad I think
You can apply warm compression and if it is indicated after palpation then it can be incised under sterile condition.
Cytology study of pus can be done and the abscess can be drained by inserting sterile gauge. You will get relief.
Daily dressing can be done and any antibiotic advised by doctor can be given. If there is payment problem then you can go to general hospital giving free treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash
