General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to hcm,
Bronchitis is inflammation of bronchial mucus membrane. It could be secondary to smoking, allergies or infection. CBC and esr will help in ruling out infection and allergies. If bronchitis is due to allergies then eosinophil count will be increased i n blood.

Thank you,
Take care
