What Do Brown Lines In The Field Of Vision Indicate?

About 4 weeks ago I got a bit of walnut juice in my eye. I rinsed with water and it eventually settled down. 1 week ago I had spider web like dark brown lines in my vision in that eye. Slightly rubbing it to see if it was on the surface didn t have any affect. Eventually it went away. I feel it is in eye at a deeper, more in inner area. Usually never have headaches. Now I do. What should I do?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

In my opinion, you should definitely consult ophthalmologist. We need to rule out any retinal damage in your case because these kind of brown lines are seen with retinal injury. So consult ophthalmologist and get done detailed ophthalmic evaluation including retina. Don't rub your eyes. Apply clean water 4-5 times a day. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
