What Do Brown Rashes On The Cheeks Of A Child Indicate?

My 9 year old daughter has about 6, brown, circular, raised rough patches on her cheek. It is only on her left check closer to her mouth and a little under her chin. These spots are not any where else on her body. There is a rough patch on her right check, close to her mouth but you cannot see it, you can feel it. What could this possible be?

1. you should consult a pediatrician [face to face interaction] since one has to exclude three important causes of the same:

. infection
. allergies
. systemic condition [nutritional deficiencies, zinc/calcium] otherwise it could be simple pityriasis alba [benign condition] and cured with good moisturizer and topical steroid cream
