What Do Brown Rashes On The Right Side Of The Abdomen Indicate?

I had an ultrasound of my kidneys last week due to backache. It was fine but saw some solid, hyperechoic lesions in my liver. Had 3-part (?) mri with contrast last week. My Dr is waiting to talk to the radiologist before she talks to me. ??? BTW, I didn t tell her, but I have multiple brown bruises on my right side. They are painless. I am not much of a drinker. I did have dcis and a double mastectomy almost 3 years ago.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, it can be a sign of coagulopathy or bleeding tendency leading to bruising under the skin caused by platelets related problems which can be caused by liver disease as well though a baseline blood counts and coagulation profile should be done as well as rash should be examined by the treating doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
