What Do Bumps In The Groin Area And Buttocks Indicate?

my friend has these bumps that started on her butt and slowly spreaded to her inner thigh and lower private area she said they itch and they hurt and sometimes they leak they almost look like dry patches of skin but the other ones dont she went to the doctor and he told her they were anti bacterial infections and she has to go back soon but wants some kind of closer the doctor prescribed her ketoconazole and vasitrasion

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely fungal infection. I would recommend using anti fungal ointments like terbinafine (lamisil) or miconazole for local application. If it is on hair follicles then it can be hair bed infection and in such case a course of oral antibiotics like azithromycin will be needed. This is a prescription drug and given in dosage of 500mg once daily for 3 to 5 days.
