Hi,
I understand your concern.
Lump in breasts can be due to-
- related to menstrual cycle, painful lump appears in 2nd half of cycle & disappears after period starts.- this is due to hormonal imbalance & is treated by hormonal courses from mid menses.
-some painful lumps occur / are constant in breast irrespective of menses. They need prolonged courses with Danazol, vitaminE & pain killers ( ibuprofen) / surgical removal as per need.
- Some breast lumps are due to infection/inflammation of breast. This needs physical examination followed by antibiotics/anti inflammatory drugs.
- Few breast lumps need special investigation like biopsy to exclude malignancy.
You should call your doctor to get your breast lump examined/treated.
Thanks.
