What Do Burning Sensation In The Vagina And Yellow Vaginal Discharge Indicate?

Hello. My name is Amanda. On Saturday, my partner and I had sex twice. We took a shower afterwards and he used the restroom, before the second time occurred. I wad ovulating and we did use a condom, but he didn t put it on until right before he needed it. I had a burning in my vaginal area, this morning and a slightly thick yellowish discharge just an hour ago. I am not currently on the pill (I started it today), and yesterday I was fatigued and had some anxiety. Could I be pregnant from the pre-ejaculation fluid?

Hello,

I think this sign of vaginal discharge together with itching and fatigue may be a sign of bacterial vaginosis (BV). You can do a vaginal secretion smear to confirm it.

The standard treatments for BV are metronidazole and clindamycin. Both antibiotics kill the bacteria which cause the infection. Also polygynax ovule for 12 nights works well. Sexual abstinence is recommended.
