What Do Circular Bruises In Inner Leg And Pain In Knee Indicate?

On Saturday, I was on my feet for 9 hours and completed about 20,000 steps according to my fitbit. My knees ached and just under my knees in my inner leg was burning. Today I noticed round circular bruises on my inner legs and it is still painful.

Hi
I can understand your problem.

You have a very common type of skin rash that occurs in the skin folds due to rubbing together with a trapped moisture this is referred to as Intertrigo.
Most often it is associated with fungal or bacterial infection of the skin.

Preventive measures include:

1. Shower and dry off thoroughly each day.
2. Keep your skin as dry and cool as you can.
3. Avoid wearing tight clothing use loose cotton undergarments
4. If you are overweight, do what you can to lose weight.

For treatment visit a doctor for a possible use of an antibiotic/antifungal cream if you have an associated infection with or without a short term use of Hydrocortisone cream on the affected areas of the skin.

Hope this answers your query.
