What Do Cough And Blood Clots In Phlegm Indicate?
hello my name is Tarnya i am a young mum of 3 babies, for the past two weeks ive had a real sore throat the pain stopped for a few days but just came back last night, this morning a coughed up flegm and its had small blood clots all in it, ive also lost 7 kg in under 2 weeks? should i be worried?

The symptoms that you are having point towards diagnosis of tuberculosis , as patients who have TB usually experiences chronic cough , and weight loss over a short period of time , also blood is seen along with sputum.
I would advice you to get investigations like complete blood count , chest x ray , montoux test , sputum culture done .
