What Do Cracking Sounds From The Left Knee Indicate?
Good evening, I have a problem with my knee. My left knee on the left side makes crack sounds a few times a day (similar to cracking knuckles) Sometimes when I get up from sitting position or get up from laying in bed I get a very sharp pain coming from left side of the left knee To neutralize the pain I have to tuck my leg in to my stomach before I extend it and it works temporarily There are times when I walk that my knee would have a sharp pain and give out. I had MRI done. Doctors sat I have no tear or structural damage. Please advise, Arek Krzysiak
I understand your problem. The sound you are noticing can be due to friction of the bones on each other. This change is age related called osteoarthritis. For this, I advice you to take Tab. Shelcal OD or Tab. Neurobion forte once a day. In case you have severe pain take tab. Voveran SR provided you don't have any kidney disease. Consult a physiotherapist too for exercise that will improve your joint mobility.
Hope this will help you. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Get well soon.
Thank you
