What Do Dark Circles Around The Eyes Indicate?

I have dark circles around both eyes. I work as a janitor where they are having new carpet installed. My eyes are burning and bloodshot, with dark circles around my eyes. I look like a raccoon. Seriously. Could this be caused by formaldehyde in the new carpet? Or possibly the glue smell that they are using to glue carpet squares down?

Hi,
Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
You seem to have allergic reaction to formaldehyde or glue...& black staining under eyes are due to stress . whatever it is it will fade away within few days.
Till then you can put steroid eye drops &take a antiallergic pill over the counter.Mostly eyes will be normal within few days.you can put cotton soaked in rose water on eyes ti relieve the stress.
By the time allergen would fade away &you would have no problem.
If not consult an eye doctor .. for checking up eyes for possible refractory error &it's correction/prescription of needful antibiotic .
