What Do Dark Patches On Forehead And Cheeks Indicate?

I am 29/M. I am having dark patches (marks) on my forehead and cheeks.. These marks become prominent and visible with the change in weather/ climate (in case i travel to some other place).. these would also disappear (not completely) by itself. Request your solution

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Dark patches on forehead and cheeks becoming prominent with a change in weather could be tanning or melasma.

It seems that your skin is sensitive to sun exposure. I suggest you wear sunscreen every time you move out and also consult your dermatologist for clinical assessment and definitive treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
